Mijn nieuwe project : kijken naar de wereld om me heen in zwart-wit beelden.
Best lastig omdat wij gewend zijn alles in kleur waar te nemen.
Ik probeer de verschillen tussen de lichte en donkere delen van de foto sterker weer te geven dan in de werkelijkheid. Nog meer dan in kleurenfoto´s bepalen de contrasten tussen licht en donker de beleving van de foto´s.
Vaak gebruikte termen : claire-obscure, low key, lichtspel, schaduw-en-licht.

My new project: looking at the world around me in black and white images.
Quite difficult because we are used to seeing everything in color.
I try to show the differences between the light and dark parts of the photo more strongly than in reality. Even more than in color photos, the contrasts between light and dark determine the experience of the photos. Frequently used terms: claire-obscure, low key, play of light, shadow and light.
